DeVries Guest Lodge

The DeVries Guest Lodge is an aesthetically and functionally outdated building and part of a small compound on the DeVries Guest Ranch near Evanston, Wyoming.  Completed as coursework for an independent study, and working with the University of Wyoming Building Energy Research Group (BERG), I redesigned the building, including completely new floor plans and elevations.  I worked with the DeVries Family closely to create plans that would make the space multi-functional, better utilized, and more aesthetically appropriate to match the rest of the buildings on the compound.  Finally, per BERG protocol, the building will house a large new solar array that will make the building itself net-zero and partially power other buildings on the site.
