Located adjacent to the Barcelona Forum Park, Avinguda Barcelona is designed to be Barcelona's premier hotel.  The tower takes inspiration from Barcelona’s famous tree-lined avenues, hence the name “avinguda” (“avenue” in Catalan).  The tower’s defining feature is its spiraling walkway, upon which one can walk from the top of the structure to the ground without ever stepping inside.  Every floor has access to the vertical avenue, which is intended to be a public space.  Near the top of the tower, a beautiful terrace houses a restaurant and infinity pool with stunning views of the city.  Glass floors provide a look into the over 500-ft tall atrium, which serves as the building’s structural backbone and a fantastic opportunity for art.  The atrium nods to Gaudí ’s Sagrada Familia, and  the entire building utilizes bronze glass and sand-colored structural members, nodding to the traditional architecture and color palate of the city.
